Hill End Residency 2022
These works are a selection of those created en plein air during a ten day solo, self-funded residency at the historical gold mining town of Hill End NSW in March 2022. The body of work connects with themes of dual stories of colonial settlement and the displacement of first nations people and an observation of the disparity of how we acknowledge and honour these histories.
